DURHAM — Bayley Coleman-Cox fired in 38 points including four 3-pointers to lead Jordan to a 69-53 win over Raleigh Enloe in girls’ basketball action Tuesday night.

Salita Greene added 19 points for the Falcons (2-2), who jumped out to a 37-18 lead at halftime.

Durham Academy 72, Cary Christian 69 (OT)

CARY — Naomi Lerner posted 18 points and Cha’Mia Rothwell added 17 to lead the Durham Academy girls to a 72-69 overtime win at Cary Christian.

Amanda Lawrence added 15 points and Liz Roberts had 10 for the Cavaliers (6-2), who trailed 28-22 at halftime.

Trinity 47, American Hebrew 20

DURHAM — Kellie Schaefer and Allie Ruffing scored 16 points each to lead Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill to a 47-20 win over American Hebrew Academy on Tuesday.

Trinity (2-3, 1-0 TAC) pulled away to a 21-8 halftime lead.

Trinity-Fayetteville 57, Cresset 43

DURHAM — DeAria Smith had 20 points and Chrishelle Smith added 15 to lead Trinity of Fayetteville to a 57-43 victory over Cresset Christian in girls’ basketball action Tuesday.

Marideth Devlin led Cresset (2-3) with 16 points, while Melissa Devlin added 14.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Northern 77, Millbrook 67

DURHAM — Ricky Council fired in 35 points to power Northern to a 77-67 victory over Raleigh Millbrook in boys’ basketball action Tuesday night.

Kentrell Barkley added 19 points and Ryan Arundale 15 for the Knights (4-2), who trailed 28-26 at halftime.

Granville Central 70, Louisburg 55

LOUISBURG — Damien Humphrey posted 17 points and George Barnette added 10 to lead Granville Central to a 70-55 win at Louisburg.

Granville Central (4-1) jumped out to a 38-17 lead at halftime.

Durham Acad. 46, Cary Christian 29

CARY — Alton Thompson fired in 22 points to lead Durham Academy to a 46-29 win over Cary Christian.

American Hebrew 53, Trinity 51

DURHAM — Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill fell behind in the first quarter and never was able to catch up, falling to American Hebrew Academy 53-51 in boys’ basketball.

Tyler Eckstein led Trinity (1-5) with 14 points, followed by Ren Jacques with 12 and Hayes Thielman with 10.

Trinity-Fayetteville 92, Cresset 49

DURHAM — Braxton Ross led a balanced attack with 14 points as Trinity School of Fayetteville ran away with a 92-49 win over Cresset Christian in boys’ basketball.

Sherwood Young paced Cressett (1-4) with 17 points, while Shawn Lipscomb added 14.

New Garden Friends 91, Carolina Friends 76

Kanayo Obi-Rapu fired in 24 points to lead New Garden Friends School to a 91-76 victory over Carolina Friends School on Tuesday.

Esten Fabec led Carolina Friends (3-4) with 18 points, while Matt Gouchoe-Hanas added 15 and Milo Kim-Mayer and Anthony Berry had 12 each.

SWIMMING

Wildcats sweep Cary Academy

CHAPEL HILL — Morgan Smith won the 100- and 200-yard freestyle to lead the East Chapel Hill girls past Cary Academy 214-71, while Koya Osada won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke to lead the ECH boys’ team to a 224-55 victory in swimming competition Tuesday.
