To help any of the individuals or families listed, call 919-613-4515 or 919-998-8595 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday through Dec. 5. (The deadline has been extended in order to find sponsors for hundreds of people who still need to be served.) We suggest that you spend at least $50 per person in the household you sponsor.

Case 515: This 78-year-old woman lives with her sister. She carries a diagnosis of mental retardation. Her sister is her aide and provides excellent care, but the woman exists on a limited income and would be grateful to be thought of by caring people at Christmas.

Case 516: This single father is caring for his 6-year-old son, who has special needs. This father works 40-plus hours a week to make ends meet and is still able to manage time to give his son the attention that he needs. Please help make their holiday special.

Case 517: This is a 63-year-old disabled man who resides in the home by himself. He lives on a very fixed income. He previously worked as a car salesman. His hobbies are listening to oldie-but-goodie music from the ‘50s and ‘60s. Due to this gentleman’s limited income, he has very little room for extra spending. Any assistance this holiday season will help to make his Christmas a joyous one.

Case 518: This elderly woman lives alone. Her knees are so bad that she only can walk on a limited basis. She is on a fixed income. Any assistance this holiday season will help to make her holidays a joyous one.

Case 519: This single mother of four children recently lost her job and, subsequently, her apartment. She and her children are living in the home of a friend. They would greatly benefit from some help this Christmas.

Case 520: This family is homeless. They are staying from place to place hoping to get into housing soon. They have gone through the initial process with DHA and are now waiting to hear from them. Mom works part time, but the family needs some help for Christmas.

Case 521: Mom is working part time to support her three children. She really wants her children to have a memorable holiday, but she needs help to make that happen. Thank you!

Case 522: This young mother and father are underemployed and struggling to support their two young boys, ages 4 and 2. These parents work more than 40 hours a week each to keep their family together. Please help them provide a nice Christmas for their young children.

Case 523: This mother is a single parent of three school-age children. The family could really use help this holiday season.

Case 524: This single mom of three children is unemployed. The company for which she worked went out of business. She has been applying for jobs, but with no success. She is struggling financially and would appreciate any help for her children for Christmas.

Case 525: This 66-year-old woman lives on a very fixed income. She previously worked as a telephone operator. Her hobbies are watching television and interacting with family and friends. Due to her limited income, the client has very little room for extra spending. Any assistance this holiday season will help to make her Christmas a joyous one.

Case 526: This is a single mother of six school-age children who is requesting help for the holiday season. Thank you for your generosity.

Case 527: This young family of seven is living off two incomes. The family consists of four rambunctious children, ages 8, 5, 4 and 3. The grandfather welcomed this young family back into his home so that he could keep the family together.

Case 528: This is a 48-year-old, friendly, disabled man. He loves his family and is cared for by his wife. He has limited income and resources and would be grateful for any assistance he could receive during this holiday season because his wife is not employed because of the demands of caring for him.

Case 529: Mom, Dad and their 11-month-old baby boy make this family. All live with the father’s family right now. Both parents are looking for work and share taking care of the baby at home.

Case 530: This single parent needs assistance in obtaining holiday items for herself and her children.

Case 531: This mom works part time and needs assistance with obtaining items for the holiday for herself and her children, ages 3, 6 and 11. Gift suggestions include kitchen items, bedding, clothes and toys.

Case 532: This is a single mother living with her own mother. One child had developmental problems, and the family is on a limited budget. Please make this holiday season a special one for them.

Case 533: This single mother of three is unemployed and enrolled in school. She is living in public housing and is having a hard time financially. Mother needs assistance in making this an enjoyable holiday season for her children, ages 2, 6 and 18. Gift suggestions include bedding, towels, clothes and toys.

Case 534: This mom is employed part time at one of our area restaurants and has three children, ages 7, 9 and 11. Please assist this family for the holidays. Gift suggestions include bedding, toys and clothes.

Case 535: This family household consists of two adults and one child, age 8. Both parents are unemployed. They have a small cleaning business but have no clients at this time, and no money coming in. Both parents are looking for work. Gift suggestions include kitchen and bathroom items and clothes.

Case 536: This family has three children, ages 9, 14 and 16. Two of the children have severe emotional needs, so the mother is only able to work a few hours at her job. Please help this family have a great holiday! Gift suggestions include clothes, books and bath products.
