Case 475: This single parent is looking for employment. Money is tight now, though, and she needs assistance with the holidays for herself and her family.

Case 476: This single parent with a developmentally delayed child is living in public housing. She had a stroke during childbirth and has continuing heart problems that prevent her from working. The financial situation is very tight and the mother would appreciate any help with clothing for her child.

Case 477: This 58-year-old legally blind man lives alone. His income is very limited. Any assistance and support this season can make this holiday joyous for him.

Case 478: This 51-year-old man has been blind most of his life. He is very active in the community. He is appreciative for all the kindness shown this holiday.

Case 479: This 55-year-old legally blind woman has a great sense of humor and a great personality. She had quite a few hardships this year. She would appreciate any assistance this holiday season.

Case 480: This 55-year-old blind woman has been blind all of her life. She has limited income. She is an active member of this community and any assistance is appreciated this season.

Case 481: This 43-year-old man had an accident that left him legally blind. He has adjusted well. His income is very limited due to being unemployed. Any assistance would be appreciated this holiday.

Case 482: This is a single mother of two who separated from the father and lost her job. She had to move in with her sister and is struggling financially. She is interviewing for other jobs, but has not found one. She would appreciate any help this holiday season.

Case 483: This 91-year-old woman is legally blind, sweet, gentle and kind. She is on a fixed income and greatly appreciates all the acts of kindness shown this Christmas season.

Case 484: This disabled adult has multiple health problems in addition to limited mobility. Due to her health problems, she is unable to handle her personal care and daily responsibilities without assistance. She has limited support. She will be very grateful for help this holiday.

Case 485: This elderly disabled woman resides with her daughter. Her debilitating health issues have resulted in her requiring total care. Her care requires an abundant amount of support from her family and resources in order for her to remain in her home safely. She would be grateful to be thought of this Christmas.

Case 486: This disabled woman resides alone. She has been diagnosed with MS, which has affected her ability to handle her daily care without assistance. Despite her daily struggles, she continues to be in good spirits. She would be appreciative of any help this holiday.

Case 487: This mom is a single parent of two children, ages 13 and 5. This is a Spanish-speaking household. They would be grateful for community support this holiday season.

Case 488: This disabled man resides alone. He has multiple health problems, including kidney disease. Due to his health problems and physical limitations, he is unable to handle his daily care without assistance. He has limited support. He would be very grateful to participate in the Holiday Programs.

Case 489: This mother of one is desperately looking for employment to provide for her and her child. She hopes someone will be able to assist in providing a wonderful holiday season for her family.

Case 490: This 60-year-old very disabled man sustained an injury causing right-side paralysis. He also has severe arthritis and has had a hip replacement. He has little contact with his sister and she is low income as well. He plays the organ in a few small churches every Sunday and enjoys getting out to these activities. He remains in independent living trying to manage the best he can. He enjoys a good game of cards. He gets about using a power wheelchair.

Case 491: This disabled adult has been diagnosed with a debilitating disease which has resulted in very limited mobility. Due to her medical condition she is unable to handle her personal care without assistance. She would be very happy to participate in the holiday programs.

Case 492: This disabled senior citizen spends a lot of time at home and would like a few items to brighten her holidays.

Case 493: This is a family with one grandmother and Mom with Mom’s four children all living together. Grandmother receives disability, and Mom is working part time. They could use assistance to help the children.

Case 494: This disabled adult has multiple health problems. He is very outgoing but mobility is poor. He is a retired school teacher and enjoys conversation with anyone.
